Experience the famous Safari Blue Tour, one of Zanzibar’s most unforgettable full-day ocean adventures in the beautiful Menai Bay Conservation Area. This tour combines traditional dhow sailing, snorkeling, swimming, sandbank relaxation, tropical cuisine, and island exploration into one incredible day .

Your adventure begins early in the morning with hotel pickup from your Hotel, Enjoy a scenic drive to Fumba Village, the departure point of Safari Blue. Upon arrival, meet your friendly crew, receive a short briefing, and board a traditional wooden dhow boat ready to sail across the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean .

As you sail through the protected waters of Menai Bay, you may have the chance to spot wild dolphins swimming nearby. The journey continues to a beautiful natural sandbank where you can relax, swim in crystal-clear waters, sunbathe, and enjoy fresh tropical fruits and snacks served directly on the beach .

The tour includes guided snorkeling sessions at colorful coral reefs filled with tropical fish and marine life. Professional guides and snorkeling equipment are provided, making the experience suitable for both beginners and experienced swimmers .

Later, the dhow sails to the stunning Kwale Island, famous for its mangrove lagoon, clear shallow waters, and giant ancient baobab tree. Here, you will enjoy a delicious seafood BBQ lunch featuring grilled fish, lobster, calamari, octopus, rice, chapati, tropical fruits, soft drinks, and water. Vegetarian meals are also available upon request .

After lunch, guests can explore the island, swim in the natural lagoon, visit the ancient baobab tree, or enjoy another snorkeling opportunity depending on the tides. The day ends with a relaxing, traditional, dhow sailing experience back to Fumba while enjoying the ocean breeze and breathtaking coastal views .

Finally, upon arrival at Fumba Beach, our driver will transfer you comfortably back to your hotel.
